F-15 MPCD SRU Redesign

MTI redesigned, performed environmental qualification testing, and manufactured new CCA’s to deliver Form, Fit, Function and Interface (F3I) equivalent assemblies for three Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRU) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA’s) for the F-15 Multi-Purpose Color Display (MPCD) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) that were no longer supportable due to component obsolescence.

MTI’s redesign:

• Maintains legacy Form, Fit, Function and Interface.
• Improves Mean-Time Between Failure (MTBF).
• Reduces assembly weight and power consumption.
• Extends life cycle using MTI AVCOM tool for component obsolescence.
• Maintains legacy Test Program Set (TPS) performance tests compatibility.
• Improves TPS diagnostic tests reducing component replacement ambiguity.
• Provides a full Technical Data Package (TDP).
